What is better than a neighbourhood with a strong community feeling? What about one that is very active? Olympic Village’s Creekside Community Recreation Centre makes sure to make those things happen in our favourite Vancouver neighbourhood!
Creekside Community Recreation Centre is Olympic Village’s local recreation core, and it is always full of activities and events all kinds of audiences. Located at #1 Athletes Way, it is extremely easy to find your way to it.
Creekside is always offering a wide variety of programs; this facility currently counts with a gymnasium, a dance and yoga studio, a meeting and event space, a fitness centre, and a childcare centre, a kayak and dragon board centre, a paddling launch and a waterfront restaurant.
Those facilities give space for enthusiast, families, and anyone interested in diverse physical activities to immerse into these in a secure and fantastic location. We can also mention that this construction was planned and built as a Green Facility, obtaining a LEED Platinum certification.
Currently scheduled, Creekside is offering a great number of activities for the upcoming weeks, which go from diverse sports, artistic activities, exercises, for fun events, and holiday-related happenings:
